Instruction&Notice of Motorcycle Battery

Sealed maintenance free type(AGM VRLA battery)

It is important that the accurate transportation,deposited,charging,installation and caring daily maintenance for motorcycle battery insure the best performance and longer service life.

THE NOTICE OF TRANSPORTATION AND DEPOSITED:

• Forbidden:Strong clash sunshine,rain and upside-down in transportation.

• Forbidden:Throw,break,roll,stress in load and unload.

• Recommend:deposited in dry,clean and breezy place,ambient temperature 10-35 degree,humidity rate 25%-85%.

• Avoid direct sunshine,touch poisonous gas and liquid,far from heated source(more than 2 meters)

• Warehouse management:first in and first out,avoid long-term stock,height of stack should be less than 1 meter.

CHARGING:

Re-charging on the basis of different stocking temperature should be made.

• CHARGING WAY

Charging current=0.2Ca(Ca means battery capacity,0.2Ca=0.2 x Ca)

Re-Charging time=2-3 hours till the terminal voltage during charging process reaches 16.5V-17V for 12V battery and 8.25V-8.5V for 6V battery.

If battery is completely discharged,charging time>5 hours till the terminal voltage during charging process reaches 16.5V-17V for 12V battery and 8.25V-8.5V for 6V battery.

NOTE: Battery long-term stored in status of discharge may lose function due to rejecting recharge.

• Temperature during recharge:temperature in the course of recharge will increase and over-high temperature will impose adverse effect on battery.If the temperature is higher than 45 degree,cooling of the battery is required

• Fire spark is forbidden during recharge:a great amount of mixed gases as oxygen and hydrogen will appear during course of recharge,if fire spark appears in the near,it may cause explosion of the battery.

INSTALLATION AND USAGE INSTRUCTION:

• Confirm the battery model matching the motorcycle.

• Fasten the battery firmly to vehicle.Be sure not to wrongly connect battery's positive and negative terminals.

• When battery voltage is lower than 12.60V for 12V battery and 6.3V for 6V battery,please recharge battery before installation.

• when you keep battery in motorcycle unused for longer than one month and you find the light of motorcycle get dim, the horn is weak and motorcycle can't be well started,it just needs to recharge battery.After recharging,the battery capacity will recover,it will not affect battery performance and usage life.

• Battery is forbidden to use under the situation of lack of electricity,please charge battery within 12 hours after battery is discharged or over-discharged.

• Battery working temperature should be kept between -20℃ and 45℃.

DAILY MAINTENANCE

Dirt on battery surface should be washed away with clear water and dried later.Do not use duster cloth smeared with gasoline or other oils.
